Terms for using JobLumy
Last updated: April 23, 2026
Public alpha notice
JobLumy is currently in public alpha. Features, data flows, integrations, and availability may change as we learn from applicant usage and improve the product.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of JobLumy means you accept the current terms shown on this page.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for the activity that happens through your account.
The information you add should be accurate to the best of your knowledge, including job applications, stages, follow-up dates, notes, resumes, referrals, and feedback.
Using JobLumy
JobLumy is built to help applicants organize their job search, understand hiring signals, and avoid wasting time on low-quality or misleading opportunities.
You should not use JobLumy to spam, scrape at abusive scale, upload malicious content, impersonate others, submit fraudulent reports, or interfere with the service.
Your content and privacy
You keep ownership of the resumes, notes, application records, and feedback you submit. By adding content, you allow JobLumy to store and process it so the product can work.
Private account data is not shown to other applicants. Application outcomes may be used in aggregate community signals only when privacy thresholds are met.
AI-assisted and community insights
AI-assisted job summaries, extracted role details, risk flags, and community signals are informational. They may be incomplete or incorrect, so you should review the source job post and use your own judgment before applying.
JobLumy does not guarantee that a job is legitimate, active, safe, or likely to respond. The product is designed to provide useful signals, not final hiring advice.
Feedback and reports
Logged-in users can submit bug reports, product feedback, and feature requests through the feedback form. We may use that feedback to improve JobLumy and may contact you through your account email if follow-up is needed.
Service availability
We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, especially during public alpha. We may also restrict accounts that abuse the product, create operational risk, or violate these terms.
JobLumy is provided as-is during public alpha, without guarantees that every feature will be available, error-free, or suitable for every job search workflow.
